During the application stage, FPI takes into consideration the experience gained in the preceding five years, ensuring that all relevant experience is duly recognised and accounted for.
Relevant experience is carefully assessed in relation to the relevant FPI competency profiles, with a focus on the components pertaining to financial planning or advice.

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®):
A minimum of three years of unsupervised relevant financial planning experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.
One year of supervised experience through our esteemed Mentorship Programme. This program entails a structured learning process and achievement tracking under the guidance of a CFP® professional mentor in good standing. FINANCIAL SERVICES ADVISOR™ (FSA™):
A minimum of two years of unsupervised relevant financial advisory experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.
REGISTERED FINANCIAL PRACTITIONER™ (RFP™):
Minimum of two years of unsupervised relevant financial advisory experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.
