2025 Financial Planner of the Year Award

Launched in 2000, the Financial Planner of the Year Award is the most prestigious award in the financial planning profession.

It recognises the top CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® entrant who exhibits the strongest financial planning skills; has fully incorporated the FPI’s Code of Ethics and Practice Standards into his/her financial planning practice and showcases excellent communication skills when it comes to tough industry related discussions.

To enter the FPI Financial Planner of the Year competition, an entrant must be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in good standing.

Any FPI CFP® professional may enter the competition him/herself by:

• accepting the terms and conditions of the competition (via the entry form) and
• completing and submitting the competition entry form and requirements to awards@fpi.co.za and CC Adele Whyte at adele@fpi.co.za

Following assessment of the above, the entrant will be informed whether his/her entry into the competition (round 1) is successful.

A CFP® Professional may now also be nominated by one of his/her peers or any member of the public. The nomination form will then be addressed with the nominee to confirm acceptance and agreement to enter. The nominated CFP® professional must then also follow the above steps.
